2026 Lavender Season

GML's  2026 U-Pick Dates 

​

U-Pick runs from July 08, 2026 to August 9, 2026 from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday-Sunday (closed Monday and Tuesday). GML's Farm Shop is also open during the above times.

 U-Pick is primarily in our hybrid lavender fields but we may offer culinary U-Pick options depending on what Mother Nature does. U-Pick is weather dependent and we will close for thunder, lightning or heavy rain. If in doubt, please reach out ahead of traveling to the farm.

Please note: in addition to the above, we may offer for one culinary U-Pick event in mid-June, weather and crop dependent.

What We Grow

​

Green Mountain Lavender is a 14 acre lavender farm in the beautiful hills of Springfield, VT. Established in 2024, owners Nigel and Rosamund Conroy grow six different varieties of culinary lavenders, or true lavenders, from the Lavandula angustifolia species ( Hidcote, Munstead, Sachet, Folgate, Big Time Blue and Royal Velvet). 

GML also grows one variety of Lavandin, 'Phenomenal;' a hybrid or 'French lavender' from the Lavandin X Intermedia species. 'Phenomenal' is hardy to Vermont climate and grows in heady, fragrant spikes  perfect for sachets, bouquets and other fragrance based lavender products. ​

Where to purchase our products​

Aside from our farm shop (open during U-Pick hours) you can also purchase our lavender products via our online shop, in person at Pete's Stand in Walpole, NH (May-December) or at our little self-serve store in nearby Chester, VT (@theShantyVT). We are also at the 2026 Ludlow Farmers Market on select Sundays in June 2026 and September 2026. For the most up to date Farmers Market schedule, please follow our social media pages.
