No, there is no fee to visit Green Mountain Lavender. Visitors are welcome during opening hours in both the fields and farm shop. Credit, debit, cash, Apple Pay, and local check are accepted in the farm shop.

We provide instructions on how to cut the lavender, guidance on the bundle size, snips and an elastic. U-Pick bundles are $15 and we also offer pre-cut and dried bundles at the farm shop.

Leashed dogs and other pets are allowed on the property in the parking area, lower fields and farm walk areas. We love dogs but they are not allowed in the lavender fields, the farm shop, or the courtyard area. If you have a registered service animal, please let us know. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals are welcome in the above areas only. We also ask that you pick up dog poo and plan accordingly for water as we do not have running water on site.

Yes, in addition to a range of lavender dry goods, we sell canned, chilled beverages, packaged snacks and baked goodies at the farm shop during opening hours. Please note that we do not have running water on site so please plan your hydration accordingly. You are welcome to bring outside food to the farm and picnic, but we ask that you bring outside trash away with you as we use minimal packaging and don’t have dumpsters on site.

GML is a working farm situated on a hill, which means terrain and pathways may be uneven and on a slope. While the top of the field and courtyard are relatively flat, the lower fields follow the slope. Please note that our parking lot is a mowed, grass field about 500 ft from the shop and main fields, both of which are accessed via a mowed, grass pathway. (The two closest spots to the walking path entrance are designated for Handicapped parking.) GML does not have suitable parking for trailers, towed or large RVs or large commercial trucks. No, although we don’t spray or treat our flowers and only utilize natural products (i.e. bone char) in their cultivation. We love our birds and bees and institute natural, holistic practices wherever we can.

Yes, we allow professional photography from Wed-Fri during our U-Pick opening hours. We ask that you pay a $20 site fee if you plan to shoot on site (please visit the Shop to pay the fee). Due to parking constraints, we do not allow professional photography during weekend opening times. If you’d like to book a private shoot on Mondays, Tuesdays or outside our regular opening times, please email us to discuss rates and schedules. Smartphone photography is welcome any time, without a fee.

At this time, GML does not book weddings or private events although we hope to offer workshops and other booking options in the future.
